What is the rationale behind pricing in euros within dollar-based countries?

I started my free trial with n8n after trying the community edition. I found the hassle-free subscription to be suitable for my automation needs. However, I noticed that n8n charges in Euros for Canada, as well as for other countries like the UK and Mexico. The conversion from dollar-based currency to Euro can result in costs ranging from $25 to over $50 yearly (including taxes and conversion fees) . Would it be more practical to price in USD instead of Euros, at least for North America?

I can’t speak for n8nio, but as a business owner, it would be a lot easier to just charge the flat rate in their country’s currency. Otherwise they have to use/pay for a currency exchange feed to be able to present the converted pricing, and risk losses due to exchange variances. Way easier to let the payment processor deal with and not have to handle people questioning the actual price on a day to day basis.

In the US it’s usd
Reach out to the support team and see if they would be able to switch the billing over. Not sure if it’s possible or not
