WhatsApp Triggers (test number) stopped working

Hello,

I am testing a RAG agent workflow in N8N for half a year now, we connected it with a whatsapp trigger via a WABA in Meta. Every 90 days, the number gets deleted so you have to create a new one, I have done that now twice and this December the same happend.

However now the WhatsApp trigger is not working, the tool can send messages via the Test Number of Meta but the workflow trigger does not start.

Does anyone know about any potential active bugs or errors on N8N or Meta at this moment? I already tried deleting the N8N connection with Meta and creating a new one but still the same outcome.

I have the exact same issue, my test number expired so I’ve created a new one but it does not work anymore, did you manage to find a solution ?

Looks like the new generated test number did not subscribe automatically to webhooks, I had to do it manually :pensive_face:

It made me crazy for days, hope it will help !
