When IF / Switch Node executes correctly my following node doesnt get the data?

Describe the problem/error/question

Hey team when trying to use the IF node to filter out data that isnt ‘true’ the false path shows that those nodes are also being triggered . However i dont get any data flowing through the false or the true path. Ive double checked i have no ‘Always output data’ on. Ive also tried using the Switch node and get the same behavior.

As you will see the paths im refering to from the main Switch node are: Message Sent and Message Recieved.

Please can someone assist.
