Where are "Using default databases" with SQLite case?

Hi,

On the page Self-hosting n8n | n8n Docs, you can find, read all PosgresDB env.

Where are the default SQLite env ?

Best regards.

  • n8n version: 0.230 uesd to works > 1.29 Failed
  • Database (default: SQLite): SQLite used to work, I should pass to Progress ?
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): I don’t understand the question
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): Synology (seem to be a docker like)
  • Operating system: DSM (Synology Disk Station)

It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.

  • n8n version:
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
  • Operating system:

hello @Nicolas_CAZE

You can find them here Environment variables reference | n8n Docs

Hello,
I read the only find one env define : DB_SQLITE_VACUUM_ON_STARTUP

There are no other ? No Login, Password … ? Like for PostgresSQL with :
DB_POSTGRESDB_DATABASE_FILE, DB_POSTGRESDB_HOST_FILE, DB_POSTGRESDB_PASSWORD_FILE, DB_POSTGRESDB_PORT_FILE, DB_POSTGRESDB_SSL_CA_FILE, DB_POSTGRESDB_SSL_CERT_FILE, DB_POSTGRESDB_SSL_KEY_FILE, DB_POSTGRESDB_SSL_REJECT_UNAUTHORIZED_FILE, DB_POSTGRESDB_USER_FILE, DB_POSTGRESDB_SCHEMA_FILE

Why MYSQLDB_DATABASE, MYSQLDB_HOST, MYSQLDB_PASSWORD, MYSQLDB_PORT, MYSQLDB_USER are not listed ?

Documentations on git miss this informations :

Use with MySQL

Replace the following placeholders with the actual data:

  • MYSQLDB_DATABASE
  • MYSQLDB_HOST
  • MYSQLDB_PASSWORD
  • MYSQLDB_PORT
  • MYSQLDB_USER
docker run -it --rm \
 --name n8n \
 -p 5678:5678 \
 -e DB_TYPE=mysqldb \
 -e DB_MYSQLDB_DATABASE=<MYSQLDB_DATABASE> \
 -e DB_MYSQLDB_HOST=<MYSQLDB_HOST> \
 -e DB_MYSQLDB_PORT=<MYSQLDB_PORT> \
 -e DB_MYSQLDB_USER=<MYSQLDB_USER> \
 -e DB_MYSQLDB_PASSWORD=<MYSQLDB_PASSWORD> \
 -v ~/.n8n:/home/node/.n8n \
 docker.n8n.io/n8nio/n8n \
