Workflow could not be activated: Request rate limit exceeded

Describe the problem/error/question

Receiving the following error when trying to activate a workflow.

“Workflow could not be activated: Request rate limit exceeded” I understand the error but I don’t understand where it is coming from.

The trigger node is a Box.com. I use that and then I call the covertapi.com api a couple of times.

I upgraded my Box.com account to get 25,000 API calls but am still receiving the error.

When I try and test the Box trigger it acts like it is waiting for something to happy but then now.

What is the error message (if any)?

Workflow could not be activated: Request rate limit exceeded

Hey @Dale,

Do you happen to have a screenshot of the error?

Hey @Jon

I upgraded my box.com to a paid account. I am not seeing that error any longer However, I am still seeing this error when trying to active the workflow. I don’t know if they are related to the box.com node or not.

I thought 524 was Cloudflare. I am hosted at

I also have a self hosted account and I am able to activate the box.com node.
Self Hosted version: 1.66.0

524 is a cloudflare error which is interesting, This could be related to the current cloud issues. Could you email [email protected] and one of the team should be able to help there.
