Workflow did not save

For context, I am on n8n cloud.

Whilst working on my workflow a couple of days ago I noticed that when I refreshed the browser page, I lost progress. I duly noted that it was important to regularly save. I saved before exiting my previous session, but when I came back just now I found my workflow with half the nodes missing! This was a real shame to come back to, as I loved my little workflow.

I could not find other related topics when I used the search feature, so I just want to flag this here. Perhaps a response to this topic will help someone out in the future, or even help me as I continue constructing workflows.

sorry to hear your issue. I am also using n8n cloud. But i didnt went through this issue. It might be either you missed to saved th eprogress cz here the progress wont auto save most of the time so you have to save it time to time. So there may be some issue with your brower. If you are using lots of web extentions there is a chance of lossing saved progress.

Hi Aashif, that’s a good point; it may be browser related. I’m going to keep an eye on it - I definitely saved before exiting
