Workflow ill not activate with Box trigger

When i use Box as a trigger, the workflow ill not activate.

What is the error message (if any)?

Workflow could not be activated:

Request failed with status code 524

Please share your workflow

It’s any workflow with the Box trigger. It can be by itself, or with a larger workflow.

Could you ctl a, ctl c the workflow, click the ‘</>’ button on the forums when drafting a reply and paste the workflow into the field that appears? Will help with context. Thanks

Sure. It’s literally any time Box File Upload is a trigger.

Does it happen every time?

A request limit exceeded almost always means that you are making requests too fast in a time period.

Yep. And I’m not making any requests. I’m just activating the workflow with the Box trigger which should be just waiting for a file to be uploaded. It seems like the Box File Upload trigger is just broken.

Are you adding a webhook subscription to box?

From your node it seems that its routing to localhost, which would never work from a remote server, you n8n would have to be accessible via public IP or domain. If you click the “webhook” dropdown.

No, but I shouldn’t need to. The is a n8n owned Box node and a Box app made by n8n. n8n docs say i only need to add credentials which I have done.

The workflow also test absolutely fine. It works. It’s when I activate the workflow that it fails which is what makes me think the n8n-build Box Node has issues.

As the for localhost in the webhook, it has the actual URL in the flow. Not sure why it made it localhost here.

Check on box here, if the trigger auto subscribed box to the generated webhooks, and see which one, if there are none in your list, you must subscribe yourself:
