Zendesk Trigger creates an invalid reference to the webhook

Describe the problem/error/question

I’ve tested Zendesk Trigger on the latest version of n8n and it’s not working. Creating a trigger on Zendesk consists of 2 parts:

  1. Creating a Business Rule that is triggered when something happens (in our case, a new ticket is created) that points to a webhook (see screenshot);

  1. Creating the webhook itself

n8n should create both when the automation is activated. However, for some reason, the webhook vanishes after it’s created. Notice that the screenshot shows that the trigger was really pointing to a webhook, but this one is invalid.

Am I doing something wrong?

  • n8n version: 0.224.1
  • Database (default: SQLite): PostgresSQL
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): own
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): docker
  • Operating system: Ubuntu

Hey @victorpantoja,

There shouldn’t be any need to make business rules unless you are creating your own process with a webhook node.

Our Zendesk trigger node should create the webhook using the Zendesk API and the API then makes everything it needs in Zendesk.

The URL though in your screenshot looks wrong and it shouldn’t be n8n-webhook:/, Does it always show that even when using the workflow test option?
