I studied Computer Science quite a while ago at RWTH Aachen in Germany, was working as a Systems Designer, Developer and since many years also a Project Manager mainly in the Telecommunication business.

I’m a big fan of automizing tasks. I use a home automatization system (FHEM) to monitor and automate my house, I’m writing Python scripts to automate boring tasks to make my life easier on the long run… and currently I’m trying to figure out how a locally hosted n8n and local LLMs can help automatizing my private and business life.

I must admit, that starting with n8n is quite hard, because there are so many options, it’s not really self-explaining and almost with every new node that I try there are issues that need to be troubleshooted and fixed.
Anyway, I’m learning fast and hope to find some good use cases to automate or at least speed up boring and/or annoying tasks.
