Google apps that are in testing only offer limited access tokens, you need to mark your app as production and you will be good to go.

I would just tell them you need it for personal use, For my own local setup I set it to production and external but didn’t bother with the verfication so I see a not trusted message but then it works so you shouldn’t need verification really.
Just did, lets see if they are going to accept it. To be honest its for personal use as well, so I don’t care if I see “not trusted message” I just want it to work
