Airtable node doesn't output despite "always output" being on

Describe the problem/error/question

Airtable receives 6 items to search. It finds 4 and outputs those 4. It should also output blank json for the 2 it doesn’t find, but it does not. The “Always Output Data” switch is on.

What is the error message (if any)?

No error message, just a lack of response.

  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): I googled this but I don’t understand the question unfortunately.

I think you can only get empty results if you wrap this in the loop over items loop.

For instance, for the table like this:

As you can see, two records were found and two weren’t. For each record that wasn’t found we get an empty object back.
