Anyone got banned by Facebook for using n8n?

Hey guys,
I just got my Facebook account banned, and the page I was managing got taken down too. The page is old, but my account was new. I was only added as admin, not the original creator.

I used n8n to automation post, and after around 10 posts over 4–5 days (some posted just minutes apart), Meta suddenly banned both the account and the page.

Just to note: neither the account nor the page had a blue tick (verified).

Has anyone here gone through something like this? Any idea what triggered it or how to avoid this?

Really appreciate any advice.

@Myzi did you get this solved? Because I am facing the same issue. I am never on FB except marketplace, and I used n8n cloud to automate sending message between e.g. Discord to WhatsApp. I only tried it during trial for a few days (for development) and left it - as in it never got used again.

I also do not have a blue tick. It’s not super clear how to appeal either.

P/S: as yourself, this is also pretty recent so it might be something new that META is picking up on and is still unknown to the n8n community

Many people say that Facebook doesn’t allow automation because it goes against their EULA. If you still use automation, it basically comes down to luck. If Facebook doesn’t detect it, you’re safe.

But n8n plays a big part in this mess too. They never give any proper warning about the risk of getting banned. Instead, they just provide the Facebook Graph API node like everything’s fine, misleading users into thinking it’s safe. I also posted on Reddit and got a lot of responses from people sharing their experiences and advice: https://www.reddit.com/r/n8n/comments/1kf9tuk/anyone_got_banned_by_facebook_for_using_n8n/
