Automated competitor pricing/feature tracker (n8n + Claude API + Google Sheets)

Built this to stop manually checking competitor pricing pages every week.

What it does:
Weekly schedule trigger → scrapes 3 competitor pricing/features/integrations pages → sends the content to Claude for structured analysis (pricing tiers, AI features, integrations, key differentiators) → appends results to a Google Sheet → builds an HTML summary → emails a weekly report.

11 nodes total, all HTTP Request + Code nodes for the scraping/parsing, standard Google Sheets and Gmail nodes for output.

Running cost is basically nothing — Claude Haiku, ~$0.03/month for 3 competitors checked weekly.

Happy to answer questions if anyone’s building something similar. I also packaged the workflow + setup guide + Sheets template for anyone who wants the ready-to-import version: Competitor Intel Automation — n8n + Claude Workflow Template

This is a very practical workflow, especially the structured extraction and weekly historical tracking.

We’re building GoalfyData, a data workspace that helps recurring agent workflows reuse their datasets, field definitions, and previous results instead of rebuilding the context each time.

Your competitor-tracking workflow feels highly relevant to what we’re working on. Would you be open to trying it with sample data and sharing your honest feedback?
