Objective:
Automating the Mr. / Mrs. on a big dataset.
Dataset
I consolidated birth records for each year in the USA and in France to extract the % of men and % of women. Then compiled the resulting 139,000 firstnames with probabilities.
Here is the complete dataset.
Workflow
I used it in Supabase with a workflow to automate mr or mrs, in two minutes I processed a list of 17k.
You will need to adapt the set node to retrieve your actual data.
I have not translated my headers but it’s pretty obvious so I don’t think it’s needed.
I hope this can be useful to you, there are free APIs for this but I didn’t find a satisfactory equivalent that was complete enough, where I could add firstnames myself, and included French first names.
