Bing Webmaster API

Hi all,

Hope you’re doing well!

I’m currently building automation workflows for an SEO agency, and we’re running into an issue with the Bing Webmaster Tools API. We need to pull monthly performance data, but the API only returns weekly data (Saturday to Friday), which doesn’t align with our reporting needs.

Has anyone found a workaround for this, or know of an alternative API/method to extract monthly Bing Webmaster data? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How is this related to n8n? Can you pull monthly performance data from Bing Webmaster Tools API using tools other than n8n? If so how?

If you are just looking for help with something unrelated to n8n, you may have better luck with Bing support in this case. Generally speaking I’d assume the way around this limitation would be to collect reports weekly, store them and calculate monthly reports by combining 4 last reports.

Hi,

I’m not an Bing expert, but maybe you can store the weekly data on a server or an DB and then use it ever month. Or you process the weekly data in to the report and at the end of the month you combine all the reports into a monthly report?

Thanks Michiel, wat het zo moeilijk maakt is dat hij de data niet per doorgeeft maar echt per week als 1 waarde. Als je dit gaat terugrekenen naar dagen wordt het dus eigenlijk gokken. Ik heb de klant maar geadviseerd om deze alsnog handmatig uit het dashboard te halen.
