Can i have the starter plan with more than 2.5k executions per month?

So ive been using n8n but i need a little bit more than 2.5k executions, more like 5k, can i pay a little bit more to have more monthly executions without upgrading to the next plan which costs 60 usd and provides 10k monthly executions?

It depends on the current pricing & plan rules of n8n Cloud. As of now, based on their published pricing:

  • The Starter (Cloud) plan includes 2,500 workflow executions per month.The pricing page states “2.5k workflow executions with unlimited steps, active workflows, and unlimited test ones.”

  • In 2025, n8n announced that they are removing limits on the number of workflows, steps, and users — i.e. those are now unlimited — but you still pay for executions.

  • So although many structural limits have been lifted (active workflows, steps, etc.), the execution quota per plan remains a defining metric.

  • If you hit your execution limit, n8n doesn’t auto-charge per execution; instead, you’ll receive notifications as you approach your quota. Given that, the answer to the question:

“Can I have the Starter plan with more than 2.5k executions per month?”

is likely: No, under the standard pricing model you cannot exceed the 2,500 execution limit on the Starter plan; you would need to move to a higher plan that allows a higher execution quota (e.g. Pro or similar).
