Can't create a workspace folder

Describe the problem/error/question

I am running n8n locally, and using the latest version (1.85.4) but I don’t seem able to use the new workspace folders feature. I have just registered for the community edition and enetered the license key. Is there anything else I need to do?

What is the error message (if any)?

I restarted n8n but the folder icon is just grayed out (see screenshot).

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: 1.85.4
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): main
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): npm
  • Operating system: Windows (WSL)

Are you able to create folders when in Personal project?

That was it, thanks! Don’t remember seeing the personal tab. Does that appear only once registered, as I just did?

I have already had it when was still a trial user.
