Can't install n8n

Describe the problem/error/question

I installed n8n on a fresh server with this cmd npm install n8n -g but I can’t login after creating login details. It’s just stuck at loading

What is the error message (if any)?

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: unsure cause can’t check version
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): npm
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04

This is a known issue. It will be fixed in 1.34.0 - this is the ‘next’ version, so if you’re still on ‘latest’ you can apply the following workaround:
