My n8n Cloud instance is running version 2.43.6. The community package n8n-nodes-cognee v0.8.1 shows as installed, but Cognee nodes do not appear in the node picker. My existing Cognee Memory node says “Install this node to use it.” Trying to install again says the package is already installed, and the only available package action is Uninstall.
Please investigate why the installed package is not loading or registering its nodes. I have backed up my workflow and would prefer to restore the package without losing existing node configurations.
Hi @SaifXAli_Khan, v0.8.1 does include Cognee Memory. Before uninstalling, check the Cloud console under Instance settings and confirm “Disable all community nodes” is off. That setting prevents installed community nodes from loading.
Could you share just the type and typeVersion fields for the missing node from your backed-up workflow JSON? This release defines n8n-nodes-cognee.cogneeMemory, version 1. No need to share the full workflow or credentials.
If those values match and community-node loading is enabled, ask n8n Cloud support to check the package-loading logs for n8n-nodes-cognee@0.8.1 on your instance. Keep the existing node in place while that is checked, since reinstalling alone may leave the same loading error.
