Compute Hash from Gmail Attachment

Hey team,

I want to compute a hash of the attachment that is received via Google Gmail Trigger.

I am having problems to set it up with Code node. Has anyone implemented something like this before?

I tried something like the code bellow, but still I am having no luck.

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: n8n Cloud 1.1.1
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):

Hey @tkey,

Have you tried using using the Crypto node which can create the hash for a file?

Thanks it works with this. If someone would have similar problem as I this is the solution.
