Connect discord to n8n without the normal webhook

Is it possible to have a discord bot send information to n8n without using a n8n webhook in the discord dev portal? discord won’t accept my webhook URL because I’m self-hosting nån, which makes it an unsecured URL.

  • n8n version: 1.22.6
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): own
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): npm
  • Operating system: windows 10

Hi @maartendlvw
the latest version of the Discord node (released in n8n version 1.1.7) allows you to set up a Discord bot and do actions like sending and reacting to a message, getting messages, creating and updating a channel, and many more.
