"Connection lost"

hey guys, i receive the “connection lost” error since yesterday and cant find a way to fix it. the additional info is “You have a connection issue or the server is down.
n8n should reconnect automatically once the issue is resolved.”.

i am using the n8n cloud (not self hosted).

Hello, i had the same issue last month and eventually i found out that the problem was my old Windows 7. It worked after i installed windows 10 64Bit not 32Bit. Or you can try self-hosting in Hostinger it worked for me too.

Hi Christopher, I understand what you are saying. This issue most likely occurs when you open a workflow and try to execute it—you will see the error in the top-right corner of the screen. In most cases, this happens if you are using a Office laptop where internal security policies block third-party URLs. You will need to contact your internal IT team to whitelist the URLs that n8n uses for API calls/Server Connection.

To confirm whether this is related to your laptop or your account, I suggest logging into n8n Cloud from a personal device using the same credentials. If the issue persists there as well, you can raise a support ticket
