Describe the problem/error/question

Hey there,
when i try to reach an API-Endpoint with path parameters it will fail. Without params i could reach the endpoint.
I send my Request via Hoppscotch.

Hi @Totenhose

Thanks for posting here and welcome to the community! :raised_hands:

What exactly are you trying to do? n8n automatically passes on the entered params in the request and outputs them. You could then use that to route the rest of your workflows according to what you’re trying to achieve.

You can view a pretty nice video of how this works here:

Hi Ria,
I only wanted to try the Webhook-Node with some pathparameters. (“path”: “TP_ERP_API/:Preset/FromDate/:FromDate”)
But when I try to test it in the test system (weebhook-test) via Hoppscotch, Hoppscotch couldn´t reach that Endpoint.
In Production (webhook) it works.

oh I see! Yeah that is expected though, as the test webhook is only available internally for testing in n8n. In order for Hoppscotch (or any other external APIs) to reach the webhook URL it needs be registered (i.e. the workflow needs to be activated).
