If you want to make sure that you get notified once a scheduled workflow stops running (or even your instance of n8n), then you may want to take a look at Healthchecks.io
It’s extremely easy to set up and get going. All you need to do, is create a Check on healthchecks.io, add a http node to your Schedule (Cron/Interval) Trigger node, and copy in the url. That’s it!
Alternatives are cronitor.io and uptimerobot.com, and if you’re looking for serious monitoring tools, the there are the likes of Zabbix and Prometheus. But as far as I can tell now, healthchecks.io is the most basic and easiest to setup.
