Custom n8n Workflow Tool

I’m using the latest version of N8N and ran into a small problem. When using an AI Agent and selecting the “Custom n8n Workflow Tool,” I’m no longer able to edit certain properties such as “Field to Return” or the “Extra Workflow Inputs” field.

I’ve searched everywhere but couldn’t find where to modify these values. I need to add new inputs to this tool for my automation to work correctly. How can I do this?

Do the fields appear when you select a workflow? It could be workflow dependent.

The fields do not appear even when I select a workflow. I have tried selecting several different ones but the fields do not appear.

Workflow inputs are now handled in the Sub-Workflow Trigger Node directly. So once you’ve specified them there, they will also appear in the Call Workflow Tool

Now I have another problem. I created a field called “tool name”, but the Query field is no longer sent to my sub workflow. Only when I remove the created field
