Subject: DeepSeek Node connection failure after updating to v2.12.3

Hello, I am reporting a regression issue with the ChatDeepSeek node.

• Environment: Self-hosted (Docker)

• n8n Version: v2.12.3 (Problem persists) / v2.2.6 (Works fine)

• Issue Started: February 4th, 2026

Description: Since early February, the DeepSeek node has been unable to connect. While it functions normally on the older version (v2.2.6), it fails to authenticate or connect on the latest version (v2.12.3). I’ve waited for a fix in recent updates, but the issue still remains.

Could you please check if there were any breaking changes in the LangChain implementation or endpoint handling for DeepSeek in the newer releases?

Hi @airis01 Welcome!
There was some conflict back then with n8n deepseek node and community deepseek node make sure you uninstall any community node for deepseek, I would say giving it a restart is worth checking before doing a credential revoke and then creating new credentials on n8n, although if the issue persists you can try using a HTTP node, also you can try using an inference provider like Groq or Openrouter.
