Discord 'Send Message' Node Error: "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'error')

Hey everybody,

i completed the Level 2 course however something what i suppose is a bug keeps me from getting the batch: When setting up the Discord Node as prescribed by defining the Webhook URL of course 2, the node returns “Problem in node ‘Discord’. Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘error’)”. This happens regardless of whether i reference something in the message field, or just type arbitrary letters, or even if i only run the Discord Node directly after the trigger node.

Does anybody have an idea what the reason for this could be?

I think recently there have been many topics about the same issue regarding the Level 2 course and Discord.

Discord nodes send duplicate messages in course level 2 workflow 2

I think this is only related to the n8n course and the n8n Discord channel, The main purpose here is to practice the course, so they’re probably restricting formatting and maybe other things to process the certificate, I guess. Just send what’s required and move on. This shouldn’t happen on your own Discord server.
