Documenting Automated Workflows — Tools Better Than GitBook?

I’ve started building out some fairly complex n8n workflows and realized I need a better way to document these for the rest of the team.

GitBook was my first thought, but it’s not exactly great for iterative, API-driven content or embedding automation examples.

Has anyone here found a good documentation tool that works well alongside n8n. Maybe something lighter, markdown-friendly, or with decent API support?
