Email Trigger (IMAP) issue

Imap trigger stopped working. When I manually start automation everything works perfectly. When I set “Active” it doesn’t work, same set of nodes. IMAP mail checking doesn’t work, even though new mail arrives correctly. Do you have similar problems? I have self-host option N8N. All IMAP mail account data is correct and everything works only when I manually start “Test workflow”.

When you say it stopped working, do you mean it worked before on active mode and now it doesn’t, or have you only tried it in manual before?

If it stopped now, was this after upgrading or making any other change?

How are you deploying your n8n instance?


manually when I trigger it works, but I have active status, so listening via imap should work by itself, so why doesn’t it work? That’s what this trigger is for.

How can I fix this error? Has it happened before? I’m new, I’ve been testing N8N for a week, that’s why I’m asking.

Same issue for me.
I copied this workflow template : Parse DMARC reports, save them in database and notify on DKIM or SPF error | n8n workflow template

When executed manually, it works fine.
But seems to not work in automatic.
I receive new mails in my inbox, but the workflow is not triggered.
