  1. Duplicate the template sheet with columns:
    Full Name | Email | Welcome Message | Status

  2. Add credentials inside n8n’s Credentials Manager (Gmail, Slack, Google Drive, Google Sheets).

  3. Import the workflow JSON from the repo.

  4. Swap the placeholder values:

    • Slack channel ID

    • Parent Google Drive folder ID

    • “From” email address

  5. Trigger manually, on a schedule, or wire it to your HRIS webhook.

  • Zero hard-coded secrets—everything lives in n8n’s encrypted vault.

  • Least-privilege service accounts only.
