ENOTFOUND Error in n8n HTTP Request Node

I’m trying to connect n8n to my company’s API, but I haven’t been successful so far. Interestingly, the exact same request works perfectly when using Postman. The API is SOAP-based.

Error message:

The connection cannot be established, this usually occurs due to an incorrect host (domain) value

Error code

ENOTFOUND

Full message

getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND seniormdw

Welcome to the community
Can you please share the request? The configuration in n8n as well as postman.

Feel free to sensor/sanitize the content for privacy, but keep the structure the same.

Not much any of us can do with just an error message.

Although the message doesnt look like an http error, so its likely an internal api error. Sometimes a small change in the request can cause this, with the example we may be able to help

I apologize for sending incomplete information. I’m new to the n8n community. Here is the rest of the data, and I’m available if I can clarify anything else.

Postman configuration

Can you share the headers from postman too?

Of sure

I also noticed that when I change the hostname to the IP address, it starts an infinite loading process until it times out.

Please disregard this topic; we found an inconsistency on our side. I appreciate the enthusiasm to help!
