Hi, i`m using Exel node to reed a sheet, at first everything was ok, after a little time my files started to vanishing(i think its right word), no i cant use them , i have them in my one drive but i cant use it in my n8n, pls help.
i saw a similar topic hear but that looked like it never fixed,
and for now i using n8n in website (i mean i dont use docker or something else )

Is there any more details you can give?

Hi @Aria_afshin_Ghafari,

Using the Get / Get Many operation on your sheets should not cause them to go missing or deleted from n8n. Do you have any other services connected to your account which could be causing documents to disappear?

HI, something strange is i can accesses all of my files from one drive to here but i cant accesses my Excel files.

this for searching for PDF files:

and this for Excel:

Did you follow the setup instructions correctly? I am not too familiar with how one drive works in n8n but with google drive, if I used a service account, I have to share the folder or files with the service account before I can view/edit them. Perhaps this is a permission config youre missing somewhere?

hi again , yes i did everything right. i did it 3 more times.
i just remembers something, my pc office is 2016 . fun thing is i can access any other file type except excel

can office 2016 cause problem?

Perhaps it could be. I looked it up and there were some errors known with Microsoft 2016, however, most of these got patched. Maybe it could be a bug with 2016, however, excel is a core component of it.

Hi achamm , i looked in my one drive and i saw something strange

my excel files are <>! IDK know why but they was not like this before.
and i updated my office to Microsoft 365

The green checkmarks mean they are synced to your pc, and your onedrive. Or it might mean just your pc, I forget which. Maybe that’s the issue.

oh sorry a little of my topic replay was deleted , green check mark means available just in your pc.

so i thinks its onedrive problem

Yea, it probally is, at least we figured it out!

thanks to @achamm and @Wouter_Nigrini for helping and replying fast :folded_hands::folded_hands:
