[For Hire] Fixed-price n8n workflow reliability audit - I read your workflow and tell you where it breaks

Fixed-price n8n workflow reliability audit - I read your workflow and tell you where it breaks, before your client does.

The free first step

Send me one exported workflow (redact what you need) and one sentence on what it is supposed to do. Within 48 hours I send back the three highest-severity problems I find, how each one fails, and the smallest fix. No charge, no commitment, no instance access.

If those three findings are useful, the full audit is USD 45 and covers everything, ranked, with the fixes in order.

Why this instead of “I’ll build you a workflow”

Most n8n work is sold as building. But the questions in this community are mostly about what happens after: silent failures, half-written records, retries that double-send, and workflows only one person understands. Storage is cheap; a lost inquiry is not.

What the full audit is ($45, 48 hours)

  • Every finding ranked by severity, each with: how it fails, how you would notice, how to fix
  • The first three fixes in order, with a rough effort estimate
  • A one-page handover note you keep, even if you never hire me again

Pricing

  • Free: three findings on one workflow
  • Full audit: USD 45
  • Implementing the fixes: USD 120-260 depending on scope, quoted before starting
  • Monthly watch and fixes afterwards: USD 99/month, 30 minutes of my time included

Proof, not claims

Honest about what I am not

Not a penetration test, not a performance test, not a review of your prompt quality. No production experience with Vapi / Retell / ElevenLabs voice stacks, WhatsApp Cloud API, or Airtable. If your workflow is mostly those, say so and I will tell you I am not the best fit instead of taking your money.

To start: send the export. I quote before anything is paid.

Prefer to do it yourself? The same checks are packaged as a one-command kit that generates the client-ready report for you: https://payhip.com/b/ZHoiv (USD 19).

Adding a worked example, because “I will find your problems” is worth nothing without one.

I audited my own public template (Triage inbound email with IMAP, custom AI HTTP APIs and SMTP | n8n workflow template) and published the result. One finding, condensed:

The claim vs the node.

The workflow’s notes say replies go out with In-Reply-To / References, so they stay in the customer’s thread. The Send Email node sets only from / to / subject / text, with an empty options object.

That alone would be a missing parameter. The part that matters: this is a documented limitation of the node itself - it cannot set those headers, so every automated reply arrives as a new conversation. The workflow’s own documentation describes a behaviour the node cannot produce.

A missing setting is a five-minute fix. A handover note that promises something impossible is a broken handover, and it is the kind of thing you only discover when a customer says “why are these all separate emails?”

What that costs to fix: either switch the send step to the Gmail node’s “Reply to a message” operation (correct threading, ties you to Gmail), or use a node that accepts custom headers. Neither is hard. Knowing which one before you promise it to a client is the whole point.

The full audit of my own template is 8 findings - silent message loss on IMAP read, no error workflow so nothing ever reports a failure, empty drafts passing the approval gate, unauthenticated webhooks, no idempotency on the webhook path, and two smaller ones. I can send it as a PDF or post it here if it is useful.

Same standard applies to yours: findings ranked by severity, each with how it fails, how you would notice, and the fix. USD 45, 48 hours, export only.
