Hi everyone ![]()
I built a small workflow that drops new job postings from LinkedIn and Glassdoor into a Google Sheet every morning, one row per job: title, company, location, salary, skills, company rating, posted date and link.
What it does
- Searches both LinkedIn and Glassdoor in one run and removes duplicates between them
- Adds only jobs you haven’t seen before, so the sheet never fills up with repeats
- Salary and skills come from Glassdoor (and from LinkedIn when full details are on)
- No LinkedIn or Glassdoor login or cookies needed
How it works
Schedule Trigger → Code node with your search (keywords, locations, sites) → HTTP Request that runs the scraper on Apify → Code node that turns each job into a flat row → Google Sheets (append).
It only uses built-in nodes, so it works on n8n Cloud and self-hosted without installing anything.
Setup (about 3 minutes)
- Create a free Apify account and copy your API token (Settings → API & Integrations).
- In n8n, add an HTTP Header Auth credential named
Apify API token: nameAuthorization, valueBearer YOUR_TOKEN. - Edit the Your job search node with your keywords and locations.
- Connect Google Sheets and paste your sheet URL.
Cost: you pay per job on Apify, about $0.40 per 1,000 jobs. 100 new jobs a day comes to roughly $1.20/month, and the free Apify credit covers testing.
Scraper used: LinkedIn Jobs Scraper + Glassdoor Jobs & Salary Scraper · Apify
