@Antonio1 as you noticed on Github this can be dismissed in 1.69.0 but there is no env option to disable this.

but in PR
there is an const ā€˜N8N_HIDE_HIDE_GITHUB_STAR_BUTTONā€™
so I assume it can also be ENV var
which I set to true but it is not working on 1.69

I am trying to figure out what this button is for and why some people have numbers behind theirs? I donā€™t. But i canā€™t seem to figure out what the point of having a button going to the github site is for. Can someone explain this as I canā€™t find any documentation on it.

I can see that the Github button was added in 1.68.0 here, a dismis button was added in 1.69.0 here, and a tooltip position was corrected in 1.70.0 here.

But in this message, @octionic suggested to put this button elsewere for UX reasons, and here @Antonio1 asked to disable the button with a environement variable. He also suggested a solution here.

Dear n8n team, could you consider the possibility to move or hide this button with env var, please? Thank you :slight_smile:
