Have previously connected to GHL with marketplace apps ok. Now I have double and triple checked all the scopes and settings however every time I go to login to connect - it just gives “Request failed with status code 400”
I’ve also tried new apps and new credentials and many different combinations of scopes but it’s not connecting.
I also spoke to GHL support and they say it’s a bug on n8n side but I’m not so sure.
Others in the community say the same happened to them but now it’s working for them but still not for me.
Information on your n8n setup
- n8n version:
Version 1.82.2
- Database (default: SQLite):
Postgres
- n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
default
- Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
self hosted docker
- Operating system:
self hosted on Render - PC
So wait. Is it working now you said in your last sentence?
Did you correctly provide the redirect uri to the GHL app? You can blur domain but I’d like to see the generated uri in the connection.
This is self hosted, is this on a local device or a remote one? Are you accessing n8n behind a domain or an IP?
thank you, no still not working for me.
here is image of redirect Uri
I am accessing on remote device hosted on render.
Am I accessing n8n on behind a domain or an IP?
I’m not sure, I just go to URL given by render is that the domain? probably.
Thanks for any further insight
I found the solution which is both annoying and strange.
Before I was copy and pasting the scopes directly from Marketplace to n8n.
This time I asked chatgpt to print the scopes on 1 line with a space inbetween and for whatever reason even though it’s all the same chracters it worked straight away.
It might even be as silly as marketplace scopes having line breaks inbetween or something.
