Google Calendar > Get > Many Events > Options > Start Time does not seem to work

I want to use the calendar node to get events from a specific date onwards, but this does not seem to work. Instead I get events starting from when the calendar was created, in this case 2014, even though I specified the start date as 31 Oct 2022. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

Hey @parasdaryanani,

Can you try using the end time instead of the start time and let me know if that works? I remember it being a bit odd.

Hi @Jon !

I’m having the exact same issue like @parasdaryanani :

I’m currently trying to migrate my workflows from make to n8n and this one is crucial for me.

I need to filter all events (by a query string) for a particular week. So I’ve tried first to use all three options (start time, end time and query) but for whatever reason it’s showing zero results. Next I’ve removed the query option, but it still showed zero results (where I expect between 10 and 20 entries usually). After removing the end time as well, it now shows simply much more and way older events as expected (see me screenshot).

And I clearly need to filter by start date and end date. How can I achieve that? I thought that would be very easy to migrate.

Best,
Sven

Hey @svzi,

Did you try swapping the start time and end time?

Awesome, that did the trick @Jon ! But please fix it in an upcoming release or at least update the docs accordingly, because that’s a possibility I didn’t even thought about trying.

Again, thanks a lot.
