Help Build the AI Background of a Fast-Growing Creative Business
We’re building two critical internal systems:
- Hero Hub – a full-scale internal OS to run all operations for a premium B2B video production company
- SuperGPT – a long-term AI assistant that helps us scope complex systems, manage high-detail projects, and support specialist work (like legal cases, multi-party workflows, etc.)
We’ve made the decision to build this using N8N as the central orchestration layer due to its flexibility, self-hosting options, and developer-level control.
The Immediate Need: SuperGPT Core
To get this started, we need help building the first component of the SuperGPT system: a Knowledge Ingestion Enginethat allows us to feed structured documentation into a memory system that GPT-4 can reference when generating new output.
We’re aiming for the kind of functionality shown here:

This video is a great reference for what we’re trying to achieve in this first phase — and it should make things very clear.
The Stack
We’re using:
- N8N as the process layer
- OpenAI GPT-4 for intelligent outputs
- Airtable for structured knowledge storage
- Notion API for document hierarchies (eventually part of Hero Hub)
- Other integrations include: Slack, Google Drive, Frame.io, Xero, Revolut, Filemail, and more
This system will eventually grow into a powerful automation + AI hybrid, with both human-triggered and event-driven capabilities.
About You
We’re looking for a developer or boutique team who:
- Is highly proficient in N8N (building, debugging, extending — not just following templates)
- Understands how to combine automation with AI workflows
- Can build well-structured, resilient logic with error handling, memory design, and long-term usability in mind
- Is comfortable working from clearly defined, founder-provided specs
- Brings initiative and systems thinking to the table, not just task fulfilment
You should be comfortable referencing an existing build (like Tyler’s video), adapting it for our context, and then working with us to extend the system intelligently.

I’ve already put significant effort into scoping and documenting this system — both for SuperGPT and for the much larger Hero Hub platform it will ultimately support.
You’ll get to work with:
