If this is still open, I would keep the first build very narrow:
one sourcing or CRM source → AI-assisted enrichment/summary → Airtable or CRM review queue + source/error ledger
That tests the part VC internal tools usually need before scale: AI output stays tied to source evidence, low-confidence or missing-field rows get blocked, and every accepted row can be audited.
I work async and fixed-scope. If a written proof path helps, send the first source system, the target Airtable or CRM shape, and one redacted sample record. I can scope the first internal-tool workflow in writing before any sensitive data is shared.

Builders over buzzwords is exactly my preference too, so I’ll be direct.
I build n8n workflows with Claude and ChatGPT integrations that handle real operational load. Not demos. I come from a manufacturing background so my default is: does it run reliably at 3am with no one watching, and can someone else understand it when I’m not around.
For a VC running internal tools, the use cases you listed are all familiar territory for me:
Sourcing automation with n8n pulling from APIs, enriching with AI, and pushing into Airtable is something I have running in production. Deal flow tracking and CRM update workflows with conditional logic and error handling are a good fit for what I do.
AI agent workflows using Claude and GPT with structured outputs and tool calls in n8n I build regularly. I can hook these into your existing Airtable schema without restructuring what you already have.
API integrations across CRMs and data sources I handle end to end including auth, pagination, rate limiting, and retry logic.
I’m available for freelance remote work and I prefer flexible ongoing arrangements over fixed sprints.

I build practical n8n/API/AI workflow systems where the important part is not only connecting nodes, but making the process maintainable: clear data inputs, retries, logging, human review where needed, and documentation so the team can extend it later.
For a VC/internal-tools setup I would start with one bounded paid workflow slice: source intake → enrichment/classification → CRM or Airtable update → review queue → status/reporting. Once that works reliably, the same pattern can be reused for sourcing, portfolio tracking, and internal research workflows.
