We would like to receive a pdf from a node and put some other information in it.

n8n does not have any built-in functionality to convert PDF files into image files.

As such you’d need to either write your custom logic for this or alternatively consider using a 3rd party service allowing such conversions. The folks from Cloud Convert built a community node that can handle various file conversions using their service, perhaps you want to give this a try?
