Ah yes, they will either be there the second you open n8n, or they will never be there.
In this case please provide additional information. Like for example how do you start n8n via Docker and literally all the information we ask by default under “Information on your n8n setup”.
Hi @fdavidg, can you confirm which command exactly you are using to run n8n docker?
I think the one from our documentation will use the .n8n directory in the default WSL users’ home directory, but the desktop app would use a path under C:\Users... instead.
I am just firing up my old Windows machine to verify this, but perhaps in the meantime you Edit: That (virtual) machine no longer works the way I want it to. I still believe this could be a Docker on Windows oddity, so it’d be great if you can try running docker run -it --rm --name n8n -p 5678:5678 -v C:\Users\fdavidg\.n8n:/home/node/.n8n docker.n8n.io/n8nio/n8n on your side (replacing fdavidg with your actual Windows username)?
