Hi guys, I need help from people who have delivered projects to clients. For example, my project includes Airtable, Google Drive, WhatsApp, and Google Docs. I don’t know what the next step is. Does the client send me their email and password? Do I direct the client to N8N and have them register in each node? Do I have the client add me as a developer In Google Workspace and Facebook?I want someone to explain it to me in detail. The hardest thing for me is Google and WhatsApp.
Additional information: I am talking about the cloud version
Yes, they need to set up google oauth and whatsapp meta developer account.
I want the best possible way to set up accounts and delivery at once without headaches, taking into account that customers are weak from a technical standpoint. For example, set up WhatsApp is annoying for me, let alone the client
For N8N, Airtable, Google Drive, and WhatsApp, the client should be able to give you limited permissions to each account. If they need help, you can create a loom tutorial or show the YouTube videos that will help them extend permissions to you.
I usually don’t start a project until after I’ve gain credentials from a client.
If you absolutely need to exchange passwords, they can give you password access via their password manager (1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass).
The client will add me to N8N، Facebook and Google Console as an admin or developer. Is that what you mean? Because that’s what I was thinking of doing.
As for N8N, do I make the client register for Nodes? Especially Google Apps Nodes, which is what I fear the most.
Also, one last point about Google Apps, in Google Console, I have to publish the app in “Audience”.So that the token does not expire within 7 days, right?
Good question. Can you register the nodes as an admin? If you can’t then I would set aside an hour and get the client to register the nodes with your assistance.
The best case scenario would be if you can register all of these nodes yourself as an admin/developer.
Great, thanks for the information. I won’t close the post because I want people with experience like you to share their methods. It’s hard to get information about the delivery process.
