How to get more than one trigger to work in execution in n8n?

Hi
I am trying to build an agent which gets a message from slack channel, sends message back to assigned user, get a response from the user and so on. I am facing the issue that when i am trying to get the response from the user, nothing works. i know i need a webhook or slack trigger for that but they do not work.
what should I suppose to do to make it work?
