I’m trying to get local trigger node to read a file in one of my folders but I don’t think that my local file trigger even has access to my computer as it’s not pulling anything up. How can I confirm that it has access to my local files and, if not, how do I change it to have access? It’s currently running off of a DigitalOcean server if that makes any difference.
It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.
- n8n version:
- Database (default: SQLite):
- n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
- Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
- Operating system:
Then It can’t access your local computer files in any way. The file trigger only works within the n8n physical location
