How to see the execution of nodes in a test run of a workflow

In during a test run I don’t see test output of nodes. I see this date only in executions.

Settings: Save execution progress: Save

It’s not mistake

Please share your workflow

Share the output returned by the last node

Hi @innaeger  Welcome to the community :tada:

I’m not exactly sure what you’re looking for here, but it sounds like you’re not seeing any of your workflow executions and you’d expect to, is that correct?

When inside of your workflow, head over to the upper-right corner and click into this menu, and then “Settings”:

And then ensure that all of these settings are set to “save”:

You’ll likely want to save all of them, rather than just the execution progress. Manual executions sounds like what you’re looking for, specifically :+1:

Thank you for you answer, EmeraldHerald, you understood me correctly
I checked my settings are the same
Setting

I run test workflow

My workflow is done, but i want to see results test running in tab “Editor”

Hi @innaeger  Thanks for going into detail, though I’m not so sure I understand - you can click on any node in that test workflow execution that you have saved to see what data was returned at any given step. Since that is a fairly small workflow, it’s completing quite quickly, so the test execution is finishing probably before you can go into the executions tab. :+1:

One thing that I noticed here as well is that it looks like your timezone settings aren’t correct, which could cause some issues in future as well, believe it or not

You may want to try setting your timezone in your Docker configuration like this: Configuration methods | n8n Docs

Your timezone can be found here: Moment Timezone | Home

I see what data was returned at any given step on “Executions”, but I want to see output data on test run. I showed what I see to run test without Stop. I need data on each step
But I want to see data like image

Please, help me

Hi @innaeger  Sorry, I was out of office for a bit!

I’m still not sure I’m following - are you looking to see how many items the disabled would nodes return? That would unfortunately be a feature request, if so :see_no_evil: An alternative would be to pin example data, but you’d need to run it at least once (or manually write all of it), but that isn’t really what you’re looking for (I think  )
