How to send messages to new Instagram followers via n8n?

Hey everyone,

We are wondering is there a direct way in n8n to detect and send custom messages to new IG followers?

We’re aware that there are some nodes to send messages but not sure how to detect the new users with native tools. Ideal scenario is not using any other paid 3rd party in between.

Any guidance would be appreciated!

If I remembered this right. Instagram already modify the send message rules.

The user must send message to you first. Then you can use API to reply messaget to them.

Can not send message to user at first now.
