Is there the best tutorial for build n8n-node?

I see that the Telegram-node is not complete or old (I can’t understand yet). And I’d like to add some features such as new-chat-member and dice.

Then I need to know is the Tutorial: Build a declarative-style node | n8n Docs fine for learn and testing of the current Telegram-node? Or do I need to know something else?
