I have some chatbot clients using AI, and I’m considering migrating to N8n, starting with the Pro plan instead of the Enterprise plan (by the way, I’ve contacted the sales team, and depending on the conditions, I might go straight to Enterprise). However, I’d like to clarify in advance: with the Pro plan, would I also be able to sell my AI agents? Essentially, using an account with 50,000 requests and creating as many agents as possible within that limit.
It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.
- n8n version:
- Database (default: SQLite):
- n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
- Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
- Operating system:
Hi @felips,
Welcome to the community
As long as your use case aligns with examples mentioned in our sustainable use license, you should be able to use the Pro plan. it’s difficult to say for sure without more details about your specific use case. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact [email protected] for clarification!
I basically sell AI agents.
I create custom AI agents for clinics, real estate agents, and sell them.
It’s not something on a large scale, so I believe a Pro account would be sufficient.
An example would be:
An AI agent that schedules medical exams for a clinic. I design the workflows, create the prompts, and sell it to my client as a subscription model, meaning they pay me monthly to use it.
In this case, can I use the Pro plan?
If the AI agents you’re creating do not use your customers’ credentials and you are simply providing a service without redistributing n8n’s core functionality, then your use case may align with the Sustainable Use License. But again, I suggest you reach out to [email protected] just to make sure!
Yes, I understand Aya, I’ve already sent a message to that email. Thank you very much.
Does the Pro plan have the same rules as the Sustainable Code License? It’s not the same as the Enterprise, correct? In other words, if I can’t do it with the self-hosted version, I can’t do it with the Pro plan either, is that right?
Thank you, so much
Hi @felips,
Yes, you can use the Pro plan to build Agents and provide that as a service to your customers, that’s something you should be able to do without violating the license
