Licenses/Approaches for Educational Programmes?

Apologies if this information is available elsewhere; I’ve searched the site and forums and come up empty

I’m an apprentice facilitator at a UK-based training provider (OFSTED-accredited, peer-led, no-cost, non-profit)

Due to the balance between in-built nodes and allowing code everywhere, it’s clear to me that n8n is the right choice of platform for teaching & experimenting with automations.

Currently, we have 2 of us that are able to wrap our heads around the self-hosted community edition, but we’re weird back-end logic types and are conscious that future cohorts may well not be able to grasp that option.

Are there any license arrangements or, failing that, suggested approaches for us to cultivate a long-term solution?

Hey you could teach self-hosting for more techy students and host n8n somewhere, like Google’s Always Free Tier cloud hosting and provide access to not-so-techy students: Free cloud features and trial offer  |  Google Cloud Free Program

There’s also a startup price for the official n8n cloud hosting which is discounted, but only for a year.: Notion

Hope it helps!
