Linkedin Scraping - Legal Aspects

So I have built a few inactive lead generation workflows and I have looking at building a powerful one. Every time I watch a video or make one, I always think, are we breaching the Linkedin terms of service. But then I see so many youtubers and other sources showing examples of them scraping Linkedin. Do API’s like Apify exclude us from the terms of services? Does any one have any legal views on this??

Link to Linkedin source that states “no crawlers” basically:

In my opinion, I think yes, you are violating LinkedIn’s terms if you scrape, even if you use Apify or n8n. Automated tools don’t exempt you from liability if the destination prohibits it. What’s legal doesn’t always equal what’s possible. Many people do it, but that doesn’t mean it’s safe or permissible. If it’s part of a business, it’s worth getting specific legal advice.
